The National Endowment for the Arts has awarded the V.I. Council on the Arts a $50,000 grant as part of funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The grant monies will be used to support arts projects and activities which preserve jobs in the nonprofit arts sector threatened by declines in philanthropic and other support during the current economic downturn.
