Governor John P. de Jongh will deliver an address to the people of the Virgin Islands on Virgin Islands radio stations at 6 p.m. this evening and later on CBS TV 2 at 7:30 p.m.
In his remarks, the governor will speak to his intended actions as regards the Fiscal Year 2012 budget which was passed by the 29th Legislature during its most recent session and the impact the Legislature's spending plan will have on government operations.
The address will air on the following radio stations at 6 pm tonight:
WSTA (1340 AM)
WVWI (1000 AM)
DA VYBE (107.9 FM)
WSTX (970 AM)
SUNNY 99.5 WVIQ (99.5 FM)
WIUJ (102.9 FM)
In addition, the address can be seen on the Government Access Channels, St. Croix Cable Channel 6 and St. Thomas-St. John Cable Channel 10 beginning tonight and throughout the weekend. The address will also repeat over the next several days on radio and television stations.
