Human Services Commissioner Chris Finch will be the guest on this week’s Eye on the Islands program which airs on the Government Access Channels as well as on CBS TV-2 and WSVI-TV, Channel 8.
“Finch will discuss the effect of the recession on services and programs administered by the Department of Human Services. Recently, Finch and fellow cabinet members have been appearing before various community organizations in the two island districts providing an overview of the effect of the Great Recession on the territory,” Government House Director of Communications Jean P. Greaux, Jr. said Monday. This is part of the continuing efforts by the de Jongh Administration to inform the public of the effects of the recession on our territory, he added.
Eye on the Islands, hosted by Derek Gabriel, is produced by the Office of the Governor and Lambert Media Team for the Government Access Channels.
Eye on the Islands airs on the Government Access Channels, Cable Channel 6 on St. Croix and Cable Channel 10 on St. Thomas-St. John each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7 and 10 pm as well as on weekends at 12 noon and 6 pm. The program can also be seen on CBS TV 2 and WSVI-TV, Channel 8.
The audio portion of Eye on the Islands also airs on WSTA Radio (1340 AM) on Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
