Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. has nominated two new members to the Virgin Islands Real Estate Appraisers Board, and re-nominated three of the board’s current members to serve another term.
The governor has sent a letter to Senate President Ronald Russell requesting confirmation of Elissa Runyon, Delrease Roberts, and Noreen Dunn, to continue on the board for renewed three year terms. Governor de Jongh also presented his new nominations: Rohit Khiani and Adonis Morton.
Khiani is currently vice-president at Merchants Commercial Bank. He is a 2003 graduate of Virginia Tech with Bachelors of Science degrees in Finance and Business Information Systems.
Morton has spent the past 22 years working at Bank of Nova Scotia, where he is currently a home financing specialist and a licensed mortgage loan originator.
“Your prompt and favorable confirmation of the nominees will allow the Real Estate Appraisers Board to continue to meet its busy agenda without interruption,” the governor wrote to Russell.
