Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. departed the territory on Wednesday afternoon for New York where he will meet with the territory’s bond counsel.
De Jongh returns to the territory on Friday. In his absence and that of Lt. Governor Gregory Francis, who is also out of the territory, and in accordance with the provisions of the Revised Organic Act of 1954, as amended, Finance Commissioner Angel E. Dawson, Jr. is serving as Acting Governor.
