The family of former Virgin Islands Lieutenant Governor Derek M. Hodge has announced funeral arrangements, June 8-10, 2011 in both island districts.
On St. Thomas, Wednesday, June 8, 2011, Hodge will lie-in-state at Government House from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and a Celebration of Life mass will follow at All Saints Episcopal Church at 1:00 p.m.
On St. Croix, Thursday, June 9, 2011, Hodge will lie-in-state at Government House, Christiansted from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at St. John’s Anglican Church beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Frederiksted Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center on St. Croix and the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute, St Thomas.
