Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. today accepted the resignation of Health Commissioner Julia Sheen and named Assistant Commissioner Fern Clarke as Acting Commissioner effective 5 p.m. on Friday, March 11.
De Jongh thanked Sheen for her service to his administration and to the people of the Virgin Islands. Sheen has served as Health Commissioner since September 2009.
