Statement by Government House in Reaction to Comments by Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association Regarding ATF Special Agent William Clark 

“Given the circumstances surrounding ATF Special Agent William Clark at this time, we find the comments by the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association to be not only ill-timed but very poorly thought out.  We have an individual in Agent Clark facing very serious charges in the Virgin Islands and to make such comments and try to have such an important case played out in the court of public opinion instead of our actual courts, where it belongs, is insulting to all Virgin Islanders. We have worked very hard to improve our relations with our federal law enforcement agencies and officers and we will continue to do so while hoping for the same from their association in the future.”
