On October 7, 2011,
Governor de Jongh delivered an address to the people of
the Virgin Islands on radio and television stations
throughout the Territory. In his remarks, the governor
announced his intended actions regarding the Fiscal Year
2012 budget which was passed by the 29th Legislature
during its most recent session and the
impact the Legislature's spending plan will have on
government operations.
