GOVERNOR APPOINTS FOUR TO SERVE ON THE VIRGIN ISLANDS REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS BOARD Four individuals have been nominated by Gov. John P. deJongh Jr. to serve on the Virgin Islands Real Estate Appraisers Board. Delrease P. Roberts, Elissa R. Runyon, Noreen Dunn and Terryl Diggs de Jongh will all serve a term of three years. This is the second term for Delrease Roberts and Elissa Runyon, but the first for Noreen Dunn, who replaces Augustin Doward, and Terryl Diggs de Jongh. Roberts has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in the U.S. Virgin Islands since 1990. She is also a member of the Real Estate Appraiser Board and is a Certified Real Estate Appraiser, with over 15 years of formal appraising of residential and commercial properties. Roberts has spent more than 25 years counseling students on the elementary level for the V.I. Department of Education. Runyon has appraised properties in the U.S. Virgin Islands since 1979. She is the Chair of the Virgin Islands Real Estate Appraisal Board, is a Certified General Appraiser in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Georgia and was admitted as an Expert Witness in the U.S.V.I. Superior Court and the U.S. District Court. Dunn has twenty years of experience as a Real Estate Broker and seventeen years experience appraising real estate in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. She previously held a membership in the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, until the local chapter was closed. Diggs deJongh has twenty years of experience in bank loan processing. She currently works at Banco Popular as an Assistant Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer. All appointees must be confirmed by the 27th Legislature. |
