Governor offers condolences to Jenkins Family Gov. John P. deJongh, Jr. Sunday extended condolences to the family of U.S. Attorney for the Virgin Islands Anthony Jenkins upon learning of the death of Jenkins’ daughter, Toni Delores Jenkins-Flavien. Jenkins-Flavien was killed Saturday morning in a single-car accident in Florida. The 31-year-old was a graduate of Florida State University and was enrolled in a nursing school at Tallahassee Community College. “At a time of such loss, words are futile to ease the sorrow which has been cast upon you. Our community joins me in offering our prayers for your dearly departed daughter,” deJongh said. “May the Almighty grant you the strength and courage to overcome the sense of sadness and loss you now feel.” Toni Jenkins-Flavien is survived by her husband: Paul Flavien, father: Anthony Jenkins, mother: Patricia Jenkins and twin sisters: Tracy and Tammy. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Quitman, Georgia. |
