Government Access channels to feature 2008 State of the Territory Address and post-speech media discussions

The two Government Access cable channels will next week feature a re-broadcast of the 2008 State of the Territory Address and a number of post-speech media discussions that have been held with various members of the Governor’s Cabinet. The programs will air at 7:30 pm and repeated 10 pm nightly.

The channels, which are seen on Innovative Cable St. Thomas St. John Channel 10 and St. Croix Cable TV Channel 6, will run the following schedule the week beginning January 28:

Monday, January 28
2008 State of the Territory Address

Tuesday, January 29
Gov. John P. deJongh’s discussion with Sam Topp on the day after the speech.

Wednesday, January 30
Energy Office Director Bevan Smith’s discussion with Roger W. Morgan on the energy crisis and other alternatives being pursued.

Thursday, January 31
Education Commissioner Nominee Dr. LaVerne Terry’s interview with Sam Topp on her goals and objectives for the Department of Education

Friday, February 1
Public Works Commissioner Darryl Smalls discussion on road construction, road repair and various projects at DPW.
