Department of Public Works installs pavement markings on Melvin Evans Highway Public Works Commissioner, Darryl Smalls, advises the motoring public that the Traffic Control Devices Crew will install pavement markings along Route 66 – Melvin Evans Highway beginning Tuesday, September 25, 2007 until the pavement markings are completed. Commissioner Smalls requests the motoring public proceed with caution when traveling along the Melvin Evans Highway and into the intersection with East Airport Road. Motorists are asked to follow all detour signs and adhere to all traffic control directions. The public’s patience is appreciated while the installation of the necessary traffic control devices is taking place.
