deJongh withdraws Dratte’s nomination from Senate consideration Gov. John P. deJongh, Jr. this week withdrew the nomination of Glen Dratte to serve on the board of directors of the Public Television System. Dratte, a radio and television personality on St. Croix, was nominated to the board of WTJX TV Channel 12 on March 21 but deJongh wrote in correspondence to Senate President Usie Richards that “upon review of the proceedings relative to his (Dratte) nomination, I have decided that it is in the best interests of the System to withdraw his name from consideration. |
