St. Thomas abbattoir to close for repair work Due to ongoing repair work at the abattoir on St. Thomas, the facility will close for one week from Wednesday May 30 to Wednesday June 6, 2007. Services to the public will resume on June 6, according to Agriculture Commissioner Louis “Akil” Petersen Jr. The management of the V.I. Department of Agriculture apologizes for any inconvenience which this interruption of service may cause. |
