Governor deJongh proclaims "Small Business Week” in the United States Virgin Islands

Governor John P. deJongh, Jr. has proclaimed May 21-27, as “Small Business Week,” in the United States Virgin Islands. Small businesses reflect the qualities that make the Virgin Islands and Nation great, including vision, responsibility, innovation, dedication and hard work.

Small businesses in the territory represent a significant percentage of all employers, provide numerous new jobs, and generally generate and invigorate the economy.

Entrepreneurs and employees have a significant role in economic sustainability, the enhancement of our communities, and expanding opportunities for all.
