DeJongh expresses condolences to Woods family Gov. John deJongh, Jr. said Wednesday he was saddened upon learning of the death of Fred Woods. Woods, 48, died of apparent natural causes at his home in Estate Staabi. Woods, deJongh’s first cousin, was the Chief Building Inspector with the Department of Planning and Natural Resources. “Freddie was a dedicated employee who lived his life to the fullest. My condolences are extended to his children, siblings and his extended family,” deJongh said Wednesday afternoon. Woods was the son of John Woods and the late Edith deJongh Woods. “I will miss the ever smiling Freddie Woods, a man who had the uncanny ability to interact with people from all walks of life,” deJongh added. |
