Labor Department Accepting Proposals for 2006 Youth Services Proposals are now being accepted by the Department of Labor for youth services in the program year 2006. The Labor Department is the administrative entity of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. Application packages for youth services are available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the following locations:
Applications may also be sent electronically or mailed upon request. Completed proposals are due at either of these two locations no later than 4 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2007. The bidder’s conferences will be held on St. Croix on Tuesday, January 30 and on St. Thomas on Thursday, February 1. Persons seeking additional information about the time and location of the bidder’s conferences can contact the Labor department at 776-3700 x 2081 or 773-1994 ext 224.
