First Lady attends "Celebrating Self-Sufficiency" luncheon during Obama campaign swing through Massachusetts
First Lady Cecile deJongh attended the "Celebrating Self-Sufficiency" luncheon to benefit Dress for Success Boston on February 1st, 2008. The lunch and auction was held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston's Back Bay. This annual "Celebrating Self-Sufficiency" luncheon raised funds to benefit Dress for Success Boston, a non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged women by providing professional work attire for job interviews and a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life. The First Lady was in the Bay State helping the campaign of Presidential Candidate Barack Obama ahead of the Super Tuesday Primary on Feb. 5th. |
