First Family and Lt. Governor Francis to distribute gifts at Queen Louise Home for Children ahead of Friday's Children Parade

Gov. John P. deJongh Jr., Lt. Gov. Gregory R. Francis, First Lady Cecile deJongh and the governor’s son, Julian deJongh, will distribute gifts to the children of the Queen Louise Home for Children in Frederiksted Friday morning.

"This practice of giving gifts to these precious young children is a tradition on St. Croix and I wanted to make sure the holiday season didn’t bypass us without personally delivering gifts to the children of Queen Louise. It was a pleasure to shop for these children as my son, Julian, actually hand-picked many of the gifts himself," Cecile deJongh said Thursday.

The First Family and Lt. Gov. Francis will be on hand around 9:30 am Friday to distribute gifts to the 21 children of the Queen Louise Home.
