Good Morning, first and foremost I want to thank God almighty for giving me the strength and health to be here today. Just four years ago, I greeted you as the ninth elected lieutenant governor of the United States Virgin Islands. It is with immense pride and gratitude that I intend to serve you as Lieutenant Governor for four more years with the respect and honor you so richly deserve as Virgin Islanders.

A proclamation signed earlier this month by
Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. grants administrative to non-essential
government employees during the week of January 3, 2011 to allow
participation in both the events surrounding the 2011 Inaugural and the
St. Croix Festival.

Jongh has signed a proclamation granting administrative leave to non-essential government employees during the Christmas holidays, St. Croix Christmas Festival and the 2011 Inaugural Celebration in January.
