On Friday, Governor deJongh
presided over swearing in ceremonies for two members of his Cabinet. Mark Walters will lead the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency and Julius Wilson will serve as Director of Corrections. Both Walters and Wilson were confirmed by the full Senate in December.
Walters, a native son of the Virgin Islands, is on loan from FEMA to serve in this position. Wilson comes to the Virgin Islands after spending a number of years at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. The swearing in ceremony today rounds out the Governor’s Cabinet.
